A new response center in the country to receive wage complaints and reports of "human trafficking"

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has launched a "Rapid Response Center" to support inspections in accordance with an integrated system for crisis and emergency management.

The center provides an integrated database and information related to the communications and complaints received by the ministry, especially with regard to wages as well as cases of human trafficking, as well as providing data on distressed establishments that workers set up despite being closed and other information related to workers and establishments, by linking the center With the Ministry’s systems, which would raise the performance rates and production capacity of the Ministry’s inspectors and enable them to deal quickly with emergency situations and in times of crisis.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Inspection Affairs, Maher Al-Obed, said: “The launch of the center comes within the framework of developing tools for monitoring the labor market in a way that contributes to strengthening the relationship between employers and workers, preserving their rights and ensuring that both parties adhere to the law regulating labor relations and the decisions that implement it.”
