All beautiful, brand new!

Lime announced on Tuesday the renewal of its fleet of bicycles in Bordeaux. By the end of the week, the brand will deploy 600 new latest-generation electric bikes, green and white, in addition to the 100 scooters put in place since February 2021. They come to replace the fleet of red and green bikes, which will be deployed in another European city, in the coming weeks: "no bike will be lost", warns Lime.

This deployment is accompanied by some innovations.

The batteries of scooters and bicycles are now interchangeable and have increased autonomy.

To guarantee less anarchic parking, the brand is relying on technological innovation with this new bike which prevents users from parking their vehicles outside the parking zones co-defined with the city and visible in the application.

Spaces reserved for self-service electric scooters and bicycles have been marked on the ground by the town hall.

In addition, Lime will invest in a new 700 m2 warehouse in the heart of Bordeaux in the Bacalan district, in which a dozen employees will work 100% on permanent contracts.
