At three o'clock on the night of August 8, a police patrol was alerted to an address outside Gällivare where a man in his 20s was said to have abused two other men with whom he is familiar.
- The assault took place with a whip, says chamber prosecutor Åsa Valter.
A person was taken to hospital
One of the abused men was taken by ambulance to hospital.
The man suspected of the assault has now been arrested on probable cause on suspicion of two cases of aggravated assault and aggravated domestic violence.
According to the court, there is a risk that he will remove evidence and continue to commit criminal acts.
