Today (10th) around 4:30 pm, a big fire broke out in a large residential-commercial building in Dasan-dong, Namyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
There is a large mart in the basement, and it is a high-rise building with many shops on the ground.
The fire department issued a second phase of response, mobilizing all equipment and personnel from nearby fire departments within 10 minutes of reporting.
More than 80 firefighters, 61 equipment and 3 firefighting helicopters are mobilized to fight fire.
The fire department said that so far, three people have been taken to the hospital by inhalation of smoke, and the exact number of evacuation personnel has not been confirmed.
There were customers in the hypermarket, but they were all known to have evacuated.
Fire officials believe the fire started on the first floor of the building, and nearby residents reported witnessing that a loud explosion was heard at the beginning of the fire.
