In a horrific incident that shook the capital, Amman, three Jordanian sisters were killed by bullets fired by their brother towards them on the first day of the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday.

In the first official account of the incident, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate in the Jordanian capital said in a statement last night that a report was received by the Western Balqa Police Directorate about a person shooting his brother following differences between them, which led to the injury of his three sisters. Helping them to the hospital, and soon they died.

He added that an investigation had been opened into the incident and the search for the perpetrator had begun.
