A heinous crime.. He stabbed his wife and then surrendered to the police in Kuwait
A new heinous murder occurred in Kuwait today in the Al-Ardiya area, in which a woman in her thirties was stabbed to death by her husband, who surrendered himself to the police, according to local media.
A security source said, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper, "Al-Qabas", that the crime took place late last night, following a family dispute between the spouses, after which the husband drew a knife and stabbed his wife until he killed her.
The source added that the husband, who is in his thirties, turned himself in at Al-Ardiya police station at dawn, and was referred to the Forensic Medicine Department to conduct examinations, and to ascertain whether he was in a normal condition at the time of committing the crime.
He stated that the forensic evidence men went to the victim's house, and found her soaked in a pool of her blood, as a result of the stabbing, and the prosecutor's examination revealed the presence of signs of beatings on her body, which suggested that she was beaten before proceeding to kill her.
While the dead body was referred to the forensic medicine department, to find out the circumstances and details of the crime, the Public Prosecutor ordered the detention of the murderer's husband until extensive investigations were opened with him to find out the motives and circumstances of the crime.
This is the second crime in which a woman was killed in Kuwait in less than a week, as it was preceded by a crime in the Ahmadi area on Monday, when a Kuwaiti shot his aunt (the mother of his wife), injuring her with three bullets that killed her.
