The French company announced on Tuesday that it had raised funds of 255 million euros, a record sum for a French start-up.
And still plans to grow in the coming years.
It's a record fundraiser for a French start-up.
Mirakl, French pioneer of online marketplaces, announced on Tuesday that it had raised 255 million euros ($ 300 million).
An operation that values the company of 300 employees at 1.5 billion dollars, and makes it join the club of European "unicorns", these tech companies that are worth more than a billion dollars.

The operation of Mirakl is simple.
When you buy a book on the Fnac site, you can buy it new from the brand, or second-hand from other listed sellers, often individuals.
This is where Mirakl comes in.
It develops and provides this online shopping platform integrated into the brand's website.
This is called a "marketplace".
Mirakl wants to hire 1,000 people around the world
In addition to Fnac-Darty, this French nugget claims 300 customers around the world.
In France, it works with Carrefour, Conforama, Go Sport, Galeries Lafayette… And its economic model is simple: for each transaction that goes through one of its platforms, Mirakl receives a commission.
Today, marketplaces represent 60% of online commerce.
They were also doped by confinement.
The start-up, founded in 2012, is therefore doing very well.
The proof: it plans to hire 1,000 people around the world in the next three years, three times its current workforce.
Mirakl thus becomes the tenth French unicorn, these companies valued more than a billion dollars.
The goal of 25 unicorns in 2025, set by Emmanuel Macron, is slowly but surely approaching.
