During the 2019-2020 season, the club's players had thus distinguished themselves "by gross faults, acts of brutality, hurtful words or gestures, threats towards opposing players and referees".

Two of them had also been heavily sanctioned by the disciplinary committee of the Côtes-d'Armor district with a six-month suspension for one and ten firm matches for the other.

Six months in prison

But the red line was crossed on April 3 during a meeting against Ploumagoar.

After an aerial duel, a Tréméloir player violently attacked an opponent, punching him, kicking him and cleaving him before attacking him on the ground.

Suffering from head trauma and multiple contusions, the 18-year-old victim was hospitalized.

She had been prescribed 21 days of total interruption of work.

Tried in the context of a preliminary appearance of guilt, the player of Tréméloir was sentenced on April 12 to six months in prison and a one-year stadium ban.

Before the decision of the prefect of Côtes-d'Armor, the district of Côtes-d'Armor had already sanctioned the football club by excluding it from all competition for the current year and the 2022-2023 season.

The player behind the assault was also suspended for five years with a ban on issuing a license for five years.
