On October 22, Guangdong Zhanjiang Maritime Safety Administration quickly dealt with a dangerous fire in a fishing boat, but fortunately no casualties were caused.

  At 11:55 that day, a fishing boat caught fire near the Fisherman’s Wharf in Zhanjiang Port and the situation was critical.

After receiving the report, Zhanjiang Maritime Safety Administration quickly activated the emergency plan and launched rescue operations.

  At 12:01, the maritime department notified the ship "Hai Xun 09057" that was cruising in its jurisdiction to go for rescue, and four maritime law enforcement officers immediately rushed to the scene by sea cruise ship.

Maritime law enforcement officers arrived at the fire site of the fishing boat and found that there was no one on board the fishing boat on fire, and there was no oil pollution in the surrounding sea.

  At about 12:25, after unremitting efforts, all the open flames of the burning fishing boat were extinguished and the danger was brought under control.
