Freezing temperatures did not stop them.

This Monday, truck drivers, taxis and farmers are carrying out a new operation in front of the Bassens oil depot near Bordeaux.

For 3 hours, they are about sixty on the spot according to the Prefecture of the Gironde to operate a filter dam.

The blockage was not accepted by the authorities and unlike last week there were some tensions in the morning with the police.

The latter used tear gas to repel the demonstrators at Chemin des Picotous.

In all, there are 30 farmers, 15 truck drivers and 25 taxis, specifies the prefecture.

A pallet fire was lit to warm the protesters.

The Carriers Collective denounces the rise in fuel prices and the government's "measurements" to deal with it, in particular the drop of 18 cents in the price of a liter of fuel.

A delegation is again received in the prefecture this Monday morning.
