A 41-year-old man was sentenced to a 10-month suspended prison sentence by the Versailles court (Yvelines) on August 31 for violence against his children.
The facts were committed between 2011 and 2018 but it was last May that everything accelerated, reports

The father's eldest daughter, 13, suffered from anxiety attacks and was hospitalized.
She then denounced her father's behavior to the medical staff.
Threats, beatings, punishments, humiliations… The two children of the defendant were said to have been victims of numerous bullying, also denounced by the mother.
The latter had also filed a complaint in 2017 and 2018, after separating from her spouse in 2015. But the procedures were not successful.
The two "severely traumatized" children
The father was forced to make publicized visits to a neutral place and several school reports were made between 2015 and 2020 for violence against the two children.
According to the Ile-de-France daily, the investigation showed that the teenager's statements were credible.
His anxiety attacks are linked to the resumption of visits from his father.
She and her 11-year-old brother are said to be "severely traumatized".
The forties also received two years of probation with psychological follow-up.
He has to work and no longer has the right to come into contact with his ex-partner and his children.
He will have to pay 9,800 euros in unpaid alimony.
On the other hand, he was acquitted of the counts of corruption of minor.
