A major fire broke out this Thursday, at the end of the morning, in an apartment on the 4th floor of bat B of the Cité du Parc, in the popular district of Mirail, in Toulouse.
Before the fumes spread to the whole floor.
About ten people were injured and taken care of by firefighters, including one in cardiopulmonary arrest.
“People also tried to escape through the balconies, some took refuge on the roof terrace of the other building, one of them jumped and injured her ankle.
The fire is being extinguished and we are continuing our reconnaissance, ”Major Nicolas Morlans, head of the Vion barracks, who was on site with around fifty Haute-Garonne firefighters told 20 minutes.
A victim grouping station has been set up to take care of the injured, often slightly intoxicated.
Members of the SAMU, as well as the municipal and national police were also on site.
The apartment from which the fire started was completely destroyed.
