Mehdi Kerkouche, the choreographer who brought hip-hop to the Paris Opera last year, is organizing the second edition of “On danse chez vous” this Saturday, a dance marathon live on Instagram with the participation of several stars.

On the choreographer's company Instagram account (@emkadanceproject), from 10 a.m. to midnight on April 24, dozens of dancers will take turns for dance lessons and performances.

They will be live in closed French cultural venues including the Paris Opera, the Palais de Tokyo, the Capitole in Toulouse, the Mucem in Marseille or even the Disneyland Paris park.

Classical, contemporary dance, dancehall, house dance, hip-hop, electro dance, lindy hop: all styles will be represented for the benefit of students in precarious situations, under the aegis of the Fondation de France, which will redistribute the funds collected to associations in the field.

It will start at Disneyland Paris

The brand new dancer Paul Marque will open this marathon at 10:30 am, from Disneyland Paris.

Later, Carolyn Carlson will perform from Toulouse with the Capitole ballet, while Marie-Agnès Gillot, star of the Paris Opera, will dance from Houlgate (North).

The Paris International Dance Academy, the Preljocaj ballet and the Crazy Horse Paris will also participate in this marathon.

The French channel CultureBox will support the event with a special show on Saturday, from 8:10 p.m. to 9:10 p.m.
