A child dies after being run over to his school in Fujairah


This morning, a five-year-old Arab child died in front of his school in Fujairah.

The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at the General Command of Fujairah Police, Colonel Saleh Muhammad Abdullah Al-Dhanhani, told "Emirates Today" that the deceased child was Abdullah Aziz Sharif Abdulaziz, (5) years old, and that he died this morning after a run-over accident while crossing the street on his way to his school (school). Saint Mary's Catholic Church) in the Sukmkum area in the Emirate of Fujairah. 


He pointed out that a report was received to the General Command of the Fujairah Police stating that a run-over accident occurred this morning at 7:43 minutes. Immediately, police and national ambulances headed to the scene of the accident, noting that the child died immediately after the run-over accident. 


Al-Dhanhani noted that the deceased child crossed the road opposite the school alone without any help from an adult, noting that the responsibility of crossing children in the pedestrian private areas is the full responsibility of their families, stressing that a comprehensive program has been prepared to implement a security and safety plan for students through the implementation of initiatives Traffic awareness programs and remote workshops in coordination with the concerned authorities to spread awareness and traffic culture through social media.
