After 7:30 pm on the 7th, Mitsuo Aranishi (85), who lives nearby at the intersection of Yoshinari, Tottori City, was hit by a passenger car running while crossing.



According to police, Mr. Aranishi was taken to the hospital by hitting his head, but he was confirmed dead about five and a half hours later.
