It rained heavily in the metropolitan area and Chungcheong area until dawn today (1st).
In Chungcheongnam-do, where it rained up to 70mm per hour, water was flooded everywhere, and damage to the ground occurred.

Ground breaking damage has also occurred.
The ground beneath the asphalt slipped and a parked car was half-drowned in a large hole that suddenly appeared.
In Chungcheongnam-do, where a heavy rain warning was issued overnight, it rained up to 75mm per hour at dawn.
As 180mm fell in Hongseong, 176mm in Asan, and 147mm in Yesan, dozens of houses and roads in Chungnam and Sejong were flooded, and eight residents were evacuated.
In a farmhouse where the water was up to the knees, firefighters evacuated an elderly woman in her 90s, and a rescue operation for a newborn calf took place in a submerged barn.
The heavy rain has passed, but the rainy season front will remain in the southern part of our country and continue to affect it.
Until tomorrow, it will rain more than 80mm on the Yeongnam coast, 10~60mm more on the southern coast of Jeollanam-do and inland of Yeongnam, and 5~30mm of rain in Honam and Chungnam.
The weekend will be mostly sunny in most parts of the country with the exception of Jeju and Yeongdong, Gangwon.
