400 years ago, Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, known as Molière, was born.

Having become a classic during his lifetime, he forever marked the theater and his plays have passed through the centuries with eternal modernity.

Whether it be the denunciation of hypocrisy and imposture in Tartuffe, the inferiorization of women in l'École des femmes, Harpagon's greed and his lure of gain in L'Avare, these human failings denounced by Molière revive topical debates.
