There were 5 newly imported confirmed cases in the province, 4 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 3 cases were from Cambodia, and 1 case was from Qatar; Foshan reported 1 case, from France.
In addition, there are 2 cases of asymptomatic infection transferred from overseas, both of which were reported from Guangzhou, from Zambia and Cambodia.
There were 4 newly imported cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad. Guangzhou reported 2 cases, from Cambodia and Kuwait; Zhuhai reported 1 case from Saudi Arabia; Zhaoqing reported 1 case from Nigeria.
4 new cases were discharged.
As of 24:00 on June 12, the province has reported a total of 2,618 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (1,072 imported from abroad).
191 cases are currently in hospital.
