  Guizhou, which aims to build a new highland for China's inland opening, will actually receive and pay 19.827 billion yuan in cross-border RMB in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 6.71%.

In 2021, 20 financial institutions qualified for international settlement business in Guizhou will carry out cross-border RMB business, and a total of 160 financial institution outlets will handle related business.

In Guizhou Province, 28 counties have opened cross-border RMB business, and 12 counties have achieved zero breakthroughs in cross-border RMB business.

  Yang Li, deputy director of the Currency and Credit Management Department of the Guiyang Central Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China, told a reporter from Chinanews.com that in 2021, Guizhou's cross-border renminbi will support the development of the real economy and achieve a "double increase" in settlement volume and proportion, showing that financial institutions have further improved their service capabilities. Improvements, steady growth in the number of service market players, further optimization of the cross-border RMB business structure, and steady growth in the use of cross-border RMB in key areas.

  In terms of optimizing the cross-border RMB business structure, in 2021, the inflow of cross-border financing in Guizhou Province will be 7.161 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.64%.

The data shows that the direct investment income of RMB in Guizhou has increased significantly, and foreign direct investment of 3.716 billion yuan has been introduced for liquor brewing and environmental protection power generation.

The export of tea and guitars in Zunyi, Guizhou, as well as the brewing enterprises of liquor, attracted foreign capital to settle with RMB 1.53 billion; Tongren, Qiandongnan and Bijie promoted the export of toys, bags, clothing, lighters and other small commodities to exceed RMB 100 million.

  As China's first national big data comprehensive pilot zone, the digital economy has become a new growth point for service trade.

Data show that in 2021, Guizhou's cross-border RMB revenue in technical support services, information services, software use, system development and other fields will be 538 million yuan, accounting for 57.42% of the actual receipts and payments of trade in services.

Guiyang uses RMB to settle nearly 900 million yuan in information technology fields such as the digital economy.

  Guizhou also has cross-border RMB receipts and payments of 13.316 billion yuan with key countries and regions such as ASEAN, Japan and South Korea, Taiwan, and the "Belt and Road" construction, an increase of 4.24% over the same period in 2020.
