5 tips for migraine sufferers in Ramadan

Dr. Ghassan Ata Al-Khaznji, a specialist in neurology at Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi, defined migraine as severe intermittent attacks of headaches that often occur on one side of the head, and may be associated with nausea, vomiting, and discomfort with lights and sounds.

He explained that these attacks occur from two to three or more times per month, and they are episodes that cause the patient general weakness, indicating that a migraine patient may suffer during fasting an increase in headaches, or an increase in their intensity, due to a change in lifestyle and diet, or stopping Sudden smoking.
