5 new speed limit radars on the Sharjah - Khor Fakkan road

The Sharjah Police General Command revealed the installation of (5) new radars on the Sharjah-Khor Fakkan road, which were distributed in both directions from Shees area to the city of Khor Fakkan, and concentrated in hot spots, which require setting the speeds set for each street, with the aim of reducing the rate of traffic accidents, and so on. It results in human and material losses, by limiting exceeding the speeds prescribed on the emirate's roads.

Sharjah Police Commander-in-Chief, Major General Saif Al-Zari Al Shamsi, confirmed that the installation of radars came in line with the vision of the Ministry of Interior, and to achieve its strategic goal aimed at enhancing security and safety, and making roads safer, explaining that Sharjah Police seeks through these measures to limit excesses and speeds. The large number of drivers that some drivers drive, and the reduction of accidents on the road, especially in the presence of a new street with 5 tunnels, which may tempt some to exceed the prescribed speeds.
