A man in his 40s has been arrested by the police for repeatedly setting a car parked in the middle of the night on fire.



The Gwangju Southern Police Station announced today (27th) that they are investigating and arresting 40-year-old Kim Mo on charges of arson.



Kim is accused of deliberately setting fire to three vehicles in the Nam-gu area of ​​Gwangju from the 23rd to yesterday.



Kim was caught by the police while fleeing after setting fire to a car parked in an alley in Bangrim-dong around 10:40 last night.



There were no casualties in the fire, but according to police estimates, about 30 million won in property damage occurred.



Kim, who has a history of the same type of crime, is known to have stated in a police investigation that "I set fire to relieve stress."
