Schwerin (dpa / mv) - 3000 volunteers in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania have so far received the volunteer card with which they can receive discounts from various providers in the state.
"Our volunteer card is developing splendidly," said Social Minister Stefanie Drese (SPD) on Saturday.
Because the number of partners is also growing continuously, currently there are 190.
According to the information, retailers, petrol stations, fast food outlets, bakeries, car rental companies, health insurance companies, restaurants, hotels, leisure, wellness and cultural facilities as well as excursion destinations and sports clubs are included.
The volunteer card MV is a joint project of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the volunteer foundation MV and the eight participation centers funded by the state.
This was started in early 2020.
