“The gendarmes are coming.
I killed someone last night.
I'm going to jail.
I'm sorry to put you through this ”.
This SMS relayed by the daily
Le Télégramme
was sent on Saturday noon by a man who is currently in police custody.
The latter is suspected of having killed a 30-year-old woman in Moréac, between Pontivy and Vannes, in Morbihan.
It was he who alerted the gendarmes.
According to
Ouest-France
, which revealed the information, the young woman had spent Friday evening with this man she knew.
"At this stage, however, it is particularly premature to qualify it as a companion or ex-companion of the victim," said Lorient prosecutor Stéphane Kellenberger.
Arrested on Saturday noon, the man did not put up resistance.
An investigation has been opened for homicide.
The woman was reportedly killed with knives.
