According to local police, 20 people, including passengers on the bus, died in the accident, and six others were injured and taken to hospital.



Local media reports that the tank truck was loaded with fuel, and footage from the scene shows the bodies of the bus and tank truck being burnt and severely damaged, and firefighters spraying water.



A man on the bus said, ``I was able to get out through the broken window, but the bus was burning for more than two hours.''



Police are investigating the cause of the accident, as the bus that caused the accident left Lahore in the east around 9:00 pm on the 15th and was heading for Karachi in the south.
