The Sharjah Cooperative announced the fulfillment of its strategic vision of granting job opportunities to male and female citizens for the year 2020, in line with the directives of the wise leadership in empowering citizens in jobs and sustainability, developing their capabilities and increasing their competitiveness to lead the knowledge economy, pointing to the increase in the rate of Emiratization in the cooperative by 18% finally. The CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative, Majid Al-Junaid, said, "The cooperative has worked within its strategic plan for 2020 to create job opportunities for citizens, in line with its general vision for Emiratisation, in order to empower citizens to lead the wheel of economic development." 

He stressed in press statements today, that the aim of the Sharjah Cooperative’s Emiratisation vision is not limited to employing citizens, but rather to ensure promotion, success and access to senior positions in the workplace, according to the strategic vision of the cooperative that looks beyond the job of empowerment and development.

Al-Junaid explained that the ambitious Emiratisation, employment and training programs, and the recruitment of talent and diversity among the youth component of both genders, implemented by the cooperative, have reached an advanced stage, and have largely succeeded in recruiting cadres with good competencies to enhance the association’s strategy and preserve the distinguished and elite cadres of employees. . 

The Director of Human Resources and Administrative Affairs at the Sharjah Cooperative, Hilal Al-Muharram, explained that the recruitment plan for citizens at the Sharjah Cooperative for the year 2020 has been completed by employing 22 recent graduates and those with experience and high competencies in various positions, including leadership and supervision, as the percentage of Emiratisation in the cooperative has increased.
