Fifteen female firefighters participated alongside firefighting teams who put out the huge fire that broke out in the popular Ajman market, and resulted in the damage of 125 shops, without recording any human injuries or deaths caused by the fire.

A notification was received to the operations room stating that a fire broke out in the popular Ajman market at 18:30, and in light of the report, civil defense teams rushed from four firefighting centers, after which support and assistance was requested from Dubai, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain Civil Defense to put out the fire and control it.

The Civil Defense Department confirmed that women members participated alongside firefighting teams from various departments and centers of civil defense to put out the fire, including 5 firefighters we were working to put out the fire next to their firefighters, and 10 firefighters we were ready to participate in the firefighting operations.

She pointed out that the neighboring buildings were evacuated from the people present, indicating the magnitude of the fire and the intensity of smoke rising due to the quality of the highly flammable goods and the materials manufactured from them such as plastic, sponge and cotton.
