The Director of Dibba Al-Fujairah Municipality, Engineer Hassan Salem Al-Yamahi, revealed violations and warnings of 144 health and food facilities that did not adhere to health requirements, including 12 precautionary violations for not committing to wearing a muzzle, and not conducting a “Covid-19” examination periodically during the past month.

Al-Yamahi confirmed that 410 facilities were visited in the same period, which resulted in issuing 62 warnings and 82 minutes of violations against violators of health requirements, including 12 precautionary violations for not committing to wearing a mask and not conducting a “Covid-19” examination periodically, in addition to confiscating 179 kilograms, including 174 A kilogram of expired foodstuffs that are not fit for consumption, which have been subjected to poor preservation or storage, and five kilograms of expired cosmetic and consumer materials that do not conform to health conditions, and for their failure to meet health requirements.

He noted that the owners of the facilities were informed of the need to adhere to health requirements, and pledged to take hygiene and sterilization procedures, and to take precautionary measures to reduce the pandemic of the emerging Corona virus, adding that within the framework of the Dibba Al-Fujairah Municipality's message to preserve public health and safety, inspection campaigns were carried out on facilities, including markets and shops. Restaurants, cafeterias, and beauty salons in Dibba City and its affiliated areas, to ensure that all laws imposed by the municipality are met and implemented to prevent the Corona virus.
