Australian Police have arrested a 14-year-old girl who confessed to killing her 10-year-old cousin on a farm. The minor cut her family's throat and engraved several words on her body with a knife. The victim's body had injuries to the neck and face.

It was the girl's aunt who found her, still alive, and notified the emergency services. She passed away before help arrived. Her daughter was arrested shortly after, reports the Daily Mail .

The events took place on a family farm in Gunnedah , in northwestern New South Wales , in the early morning. The victim's aunt left the house with another child at 6.30 in the morning to begin agricultural tasks. The girls slept. He returned just half an hour later and found his niece bleeding and with her neck cut. Her own daughter was missing.

A desperate search began for the 14-year-old girl, who appeared at a neighbor's house at 8:30. He confessed to the police that he had cut and stabbed his cousin , who was visiting during the holidays. The girl had lacerations on the skin that formed words, but has not transcended its content.
