As of March 20, Putian City has reported a total of 16 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, and 3 new confirmed cases, all of which were reported by Xianyou County.

The 16 confirmed cases are all mild and have been isolated, managed and treated in designated hospitals, and their condition is stable.

　　According to information on the Putian CDC website, from March 13 to 8:00 on March 19, a total of 13 confirmed cases in Putian City were all students from a private No. 1 middle school in Xianyou County.

　　Fujian JianPutian City Response to the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Work Headquarters issued a notice saying that from 8:00 on the 19th, Xianyou Private No. 1 Middle School in Putian City, Fujian Province has been listed as a high-risk area.

Xianyou Private No. 1 Middle School, Xianyou Private No. 1 Primary School and many other places were newly added as closed areas.

Except for the closed and controlled areas, other areas in Xianyou County are all prevention areas.

　　As of 8:00 on March 20, Putian has collected 2,970,153 nucleic acid samples, and 1,294,094 results have been obtained, of which: Xianyou County has collected 1,038,158 nucleic acid samples, and 614,243 results have been obtained.

As of 8:00 on March 19, Putian's close contact and sub-close contact personnel have implemented isolation control measures; environmental specimen nucleic acid sampling and terminal disinfection have been carried out in the venues of confirmed cases.

The Affiliated Hospital of Putian College supported the members of the Xianyou Nucleic Acid Sampling Emergency Medical Team to conduct nucleic acid sampling for local residents.
