As the State Office for Health and Social Affairs (Lagus) in Rostock further announced (as of 4:20 p.m.), the number of confirmed corona infections in the country exceeded the 6000 mark on Tuesday. Of the 6118 infected people registered since the start of the pandemic, around 4600 have since recovered.

According to Lagus, 126 corona patients are currently being treated in hospitals, 35 of them in intensive care units.

Another patient died, so that a total of 64 people across the country have died in connection with the coronavirus since March.

As on the previous days, the districts of Vorpommern-Greifswald (80.2), Mecklenburg Lake District (69.0), Northwest Mecklenburg (63.6) and Ludwigslust-Parchim (51.5) had incidence values ​​of more than 50 and are therefore considered risk areas .

Despite a slight increase, the lowest incidence was again registered in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen at 15.6.
