According to Sarenqimge, deputy director of the Inner Mongolia Health Commission, from 0:00 to 15:00 on October 28, 15 new local confirmed cases were confirmed in Inner Mongolia, including 1 case in Erlianhot City of Xilin Gol League and 14 cases in Ejina Banner of Alxa League.
As of 15:00 on October 28, there were 132 confirmed cases in Inner Mongolia, including 3 cases in Hohhot City, 17 cases in Erenhot City of Xilin Gol League, 1 case in Yijinhuoluo Banner of Ordos City, 110 cases in Ejina Banner of Alxa League, and Alxa Left Banner 1 case, 1 suspected case.
Confirmed cases and suspected cases are treated in isolation in designated hospitals, and all close contacts are quarantined in designated places for medical observation.
Sarenqimg said that as of 9 o'clock on October 28, the 4 leagues and cities where the epidemic occurred had investigated a total of 2,570 close contacts and 3,323 close contacts of close contacts, and all implemented isolation control measures.
Sarenqimg said that the four regions have comprehensively strengthened social management and control, and implemented fully closed management of communities with high and medium risks.
