La Française des Jeux predicts “a rain of millionaires at European level”.

Friday, January 21, the FDJ and the entire EuroMillions community will allow one hundred players to each win the sum of one million euros, indicates a press release from the group.

Thus, 100 players will be drawn from all nine participating countries: Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, United Kingdom and Switzerland.

To do this, you just need to have played a classic physical or digital grid.

“On the game receipt, they will find their EuroMillions numbers as well as a unique additional code, assigned automatically”, specifies the FDJ.

This Friday, January 21, Euromillions is planning a “Rain of Millionaires”, 100 codes will be drawn at random in Europe to win 1 million euros.

€17 million jackpot

This draw is independent of the My Million code, which already earns a French player one million euros for each draw.

This exceptional draw is in addition to the minimum jackpot of 17 million euros which will be put into play on Friday.

On October 15, 2021, a young Polynesian won 220 million euros, the biggest jackpot in European lottery history.

A month later, another player scooped up 162 million euros, becoming the fifth biggest winner in France.
