As of May 11, the announced date of deconfinement, the network should circulate again at 85%. Remember that wearing a mask will be compulsory in the metros, buses and trams of the network. And free distribution to travelers is seen as an “essential measure for resuming” traffic.
10,000 paid kits
Controls will also be carried out on the network and awareness-raising operations will also be carried out. "Discussions with the Rhône prefecture and the minister" are underway on this subject, said Fouziya Bouzerda, the president of Sytral.
In addition, 10,000 paid kits including 2 masks and hydro-alcoholic gel will be deployed between May 11 and 15, in the 70 vending machines at metro stations, usually reserved for snacks and drinks. They will be sold between 3.5 and 4 euros.
Residents will also be able to purchase masks from the city of Lyon, the metropolis and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. For the city, the procedures will be possible from Friday, May 8. And distribution, by appointment, will be spread over the next few weeks in 15 gymnasiums or sports complexes in the city.
