government announced that this year, the property tax, estate tax, and local health insurance premiums for single-family dwellers will be bundled at the same level as last year.

It is intended to use last year's published price, which is the basis for setting the holding tax.

In the case of multiple homeowners, the same benefits are available if the house is sold before June 1 of this year and becomes a single home owner.

[Hong Nam-ki / Deputy Prime Minister: We have responded by preparing additional mitigation measures under the consistent principle that the burden on the beneficial owners of one house and one house should not soar.]

In this way, if the published price last year was less than KRW 1.1 billion, the property tax would be frozen.

In addition, even if the published price of this year exceeds KRW 1.1 billion, we do not pay the tax.

However, if the published price of last year exceeds KRW 1.1 billion, the property tax will be frozen, but the tax will have to be increased by 1.9% from last year.

The government has decided to introduce a system that defers payment if you are at least 60 years of age or older and at the same time a single homeowner with a total salary of less than 70 million won and a property tax of more than 1 million won.

Local health insurance premiums will also be calculated using last year's published price and at the same time, an additional 50 million won will be deducted from this amount from September, so the number of households is expected to decrease.

In addition, as the ruling party, as well as President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol, pledged to return the published price to the 2020 level and lower the property tax, additional announcements may be made during the parliamentary debate.
