Previously, after meeting with National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok yesterday, the ruling and opposition party leaders reached a consensus to hold a plenary session to deal with the supplementary budget bill at 8 pm today.
We decided to hold the meeting for now, seeing that there is a possibility of narrowing down differences of opinion on the issue of retroactive application of loss compensation.
However, after the subsequent negotiations failed to resolve differences on key issues, the ruling and opposition parties decided to postpone the opening of the plenary session by one day.
