Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nayan, owner of Manchester City, England's professional football team, and the wealthy man of the United Arab Emirates, once again made a name for itself.

Man City said on the club's website yesterday (18th) that "the owner of Mansour has decided to support travel expenses such as airfare and transportation expenses for our fans who will attend the European Football Federation Champions League final in Porto, Portugal at the end of this month."

He added that thousands of Manchester City supporters will benefit from this plan, designed to relieve the financial burden of fans who are struggling with the aftermath of the Corona 19 pandemic.

The 2020-2021 UEFA Champions League final will be held on the 30th at 4 am on the 30th at the Dragan Stadium in Porto.

Initially, the match was scheduled to be held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, but due to the spread of Corona 19, the British government designated Turkey as a'travel warning red country', making it difficult for British fans to visit Istanbul.

Accordingly, the British government and UEFA discussed a plan to hold the final match at the Wembley Stadium in London, but this also failed because it failed to resolve the issue of self-isolation exemption for the event officials, such as broadcasters and sponsors, and eventually Porto was chosen as an alternative venue.

UEFA decided to play the finals as a related match and allocated 6,000 tickets for Manchester City and Chelsea supporters.

Mansour, who took over the club in 2008, has invested huge amounts of money and has grown into one of the best clubs in Europe. Man City is the first to advance to the Champions League final and even win.

"Pep Guardiola and his team had a great season. It is a historic moment for our club to reach the Champions League final after going through a very difficult year," said Mansour. It is very important to get a lot of opportunities to watch this special game.”
