This is the first arrest case among those involved in the '5 billion club' allegation that Hwacheon Daeyu received or promised to receive a large sum.



Prosecutors requested an arrest warrant in November last year, claiming that former lawmaker Kwak received 2.5 billion won after tax in the name of his son's severance pay in exchange for his influence so that the consortium in which Hana Bank participates would not collapse at the request of Mr. not imported.



After a further investigation, the crime included additional charges of receiving 50 million won in illegal political funds from Attorney Nam-wook before and after the April 2016 general election.
