Zelensky called on the West to maintain sanctions against Russia

“Some people in the West are talking about lifting sanctions because they are losing money. And we are losing people. Until there is peace, sanctions must remain, ”TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Zelensky thanked the Austrian side for the “powerful sanctions policy” against Russia. Prior to this, in July, the head of Ukraine also noted the introduction by Canada of “powerful sanctions” against Russia.

In May, the leader of the Fatherland Party, Yulia Tymoshenko, expressed the view that Ukraine needs a strong army and increased sanctions against Russia.
