Simone Biles grabbed the world medal record alone for a gymnast with her 24th gold medal on Sunday in Stuttgart, Germany, at nine months of the 2020 Olympics.

Biles (22) had equaled yesterday's record set by Belarus's Vitaly Scherbo (23) in the 1990s by winning the jump. It remains an opportunity to the American champion to make it progress further, in less than two hours, in the final of the soil.

In detail, the four-time Olympic champion now has 18 world gold medals, three silver and three bronze.

Biles also continues to enrich the record of world gold medals she has held since 2018. Never before a gymnast had conquered more than twelve.

Before the final of the ground, it already totals four coronations at the World-2019: team, general competition, vault and beam. Only the uneven bars, the only apparatus of which she was never crowned world champion, resisted her once again: she ranked "only" fifth of the final Saturday.

Thursday, she became the first gymnast in history five times world champion general competition. Only Japan's Kohei Uchimura has done better, with six world titles on the men's side.

On the beam, Biles got an excellent score of 15.066. Accompany him on the podium two Chinese, Liu Tingting (14,433) and Li Shijia (14,300).

Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos of France ranks fifth (13.966).
