The Russian gymnasts, led by Artur Dalaloyan and Nikita Nagornyy, took their revenge on the Chinese at the end of the team competition at the World Championships Wednesday in Stuttgart (Germany), less than ten months of the Tokyo Olympics.

A year ago in Doha, it was the Chinese who were crowned world champions, with less than five hundredths - precisely 49 thousandths - margin on the Russians who won their first team title.

The latter dethroned them on the German carpet, winning with a lead of one point, with a total of 261.726 (260.729). As in 2018, the Japanese, this time orphans of their king Kohei Uchimura - who struggles to find his best after several seasons enamelled wounds - finish third (258,159).
