UEFA World Champion Lightweight Mixed Martial Arts (UFC) Habib Nur Mammadov retained his title after beating American rival Dustin Poirier in their fight in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
The 30-year-old Russian champion Nur Mammadov has named himself as one of the most notable mixed martial arts legends of his career, winning 28 of his fights so far.
Nur Mamedov dominated the battle and strained his opponent with blows and strangulation, until he forced him to surrender in the third round after he managed to tighten his strangle, to declare the victory victory.

Nur Mammadov suffered the sixth defeat of his 30-year-old rival Bouareh, who won 25 of his career.
The match witnessed a high sporting spirit of the two champions, hugging the two after the referee announced the victory of Nur Mammadov in a rare scene of big matches on world titles.

Nur Mammadov will receive the biggest fee in his history. His father, Abdul Manab Nur Mammadov, said he would receive six million dollars for his fight against Poirier.
