Egyptian actor and contractor Mohamed Ali's call for a popular uprising forcing President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to step down has aroused much concern among the Egyptian authorities, who have rushed in several directions to prevent these demonstrations from going out.

Mohamed Ali divided what he described as his practical plan into two demands: the first was an electronic move by supporting the # Kifaya_Be_Assisi label, which he launched to invite Sisi to step down in response to the wishes of the Egyptian public.

The volume of interaction with this marking has reached an unprecedented level, with the list of the highest traded in Egypt and a number of Arab countries, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Algeria, Qatar and the UAE, and remained on the global list of the most traded for several hours, note that the number of participants exceeded one million, and still Leads social networking sites.

Mohamed Ali explained that the second part of his practical plan is to call to take to the street for an hour in various governorates of Egypt next Friday - in case Sisi did not heed the refusal of the Egyptians in social networking sites - to announce the rejection of his continued rule; Observe and judge this move.

In anticipation of the reaction of the Egyptians to the call for demonstrations, the Egyptian authorities took several steps to combat these moves, ranging from the stick and the carrot, and can be monitored in the following seven steps:

1. Distortion
The media have increased the frequency of defaming Mohamed Ali among Egyptians as a protester, and there have been numerous manifestations of accusations of treason and collaboration with the Muslim Brotherhood to publish photos and videos of his female relationships, as well as audio recordings showing him as an obstacle to his parents.

2. War tags
After the unprecedented interaction with the label demanding the departure of Sisi and exceeding one million participants and considered the real measure of the interaction of Egyptians with the calls to demonstrate, the electronic commissions of the system launched several tags to address these calls, such as: "Long live Egypt" and "Hankmel Maak journey, Sisi", the latest "million Retweet support for Sisi. "

These included threats to those who are thinking of demonstrating, distorting the idea of the revolution, as well as continuing to spread propaganda of the Egyptian regime on the importance of security and stability compared to certain countries in the region, as well as reviewing what they called Sisi's achievements.

3. Religion
In an attempt to influence Egypt's religious emotions, religious institutions have entered the warning line of the revolution, but indirectly with many overtones.

For its part, Dar al-Iftaa published a video talking about the importance of preserving the homeland, stressing that this task is not confined to the rulers, but is the duty of every member of the people to implement the orders of religion.

In turn, Al-Azhar Media Center announced the launch of an electronic campaign to help the state face what he described as false news and clarify its impact on the country.

Endowments Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa also warned of the danger of attempts to demolish countries through the media, talking about groups that are based only on the ruins of states, by distorting the regimes and demonizing any regime, he said.

4. National songs
As usual, the Egyptian authorities resorted to popular singer Shaaban Abdel Rahim in an attempt to influence the popular class who listen to his songs, where he hastily released a song attacking Mohamed Ali and the opposition media, and praises Sisi and the army.

5. Security alert and arrests
In parallel with defamation and intimidation campaigns, a security source at the Ministry of Interior revealed to Al Jazeera Net that Interior Minister Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq issued instructions to increase the state of emergency within the ministry, prevent officers' leave, and summon those who get a license to return to work immediately.

The source pointed to the holding of high-level meetings of the internal leadership with the political leadership, to determine the way to deal with possible demonstrations and how to nip the manifestations of protest called for by Mohammed Ali.

This was accompanied by reports of a campaign of arrests of activists, including the arrest of the famous leftist activist Kamal Khalil.

6. Disconnect the Internet
As in the January 25, 2011 revolution, security sources told Al Jazeera Net that meetings between the security services and political leaders are likely to take a decision to disconnect the Internet service from Egypt on Thursday or Friday.

This comes as sources talked about the blocking of the Internet antenna service "Wi-Fi" at Cairo International Airport, and cut off from those inside the passenger lounges.

7. Reformative promises
Although the policy of the Sisi regime usually deals only with the logic of the stick, it seems that the pressure of popular anger is currently pushing it to use the carrot for the first time. As well as elections for municipalities afterwards.

Rizk had previously published what he said was his vision to amend the constitution to allow the extension of Sisi's presidency and the army's control of the state, to come out constitutional amendments approved a few months ago in line with what he said.

It is interesting that the host of Rizk was the most radical broadcasters in promoting the suppression of the regime and attack the opposition, Ahmed Moussa, but the latter spoke this time welcomed the political reform and the granting of freedoms of information, opinion and expression, and open more space for political parties.
