The weather looks very hectic Tuesday in the south. The Hérault, Aude, Pyrénées-Orientales and Andorra are also placed in vigilance orange thunderstorms and rain-floods

The weather will be rainy in the south on Tuesday and will hesitate elsewhere between clouds and thunderstorms, according to Météo-France forecasts.

Heavy rains in the south

Rains, coming from the Mediterranean, will be present in the morning on the South-East. Over the hours, they will evacuate the PACA and Rhône-Alpes regions by shifting towards the Southwest, the Center and Poitou-Charentes. The rains will be moderate to strong over Occitania and southern New Aquitaine. Between Ariège, Pyrénées-Orientales, Aude, Tarn, Aveyron and Hérault, precipitation will take a stormy character with significant accumulations, a risk of hail and strong gusts of wind.

The wind from east to southeast will strengthen around the Mediterranean and in the Autan area with peaks up to 80/90 km / h.

Clouds and clearings everywhere else

On the rest of the country as well as on Corsica, after the dissipation of the morning gloom, the sky will hesitate between clouds and clearings. Only a few drops will be possible on the edge of the weather, between the west of Burgundy, the Ile-de-France and the southern Pays de la Loire.

In the morning, temperatures will go from 4 to 11 degrees, up to 14 to 20 degrees around the Mediterranean. In the afternoon, it will be 14 to 19 degrees in most areas, 20 to 24 degrees in the Mediterranean and up to 25 to 30 degrees in Corsica.
