"A series of investigations are underway concerning the world managed by Ama from which it is emerging quite clearly that between poor management of Tmb plants and omitted controls of activities managed through contracting companies, as well as bad management of ecological islands, not c 'is a segment of this waste cycle management activity that has not been investigated and managed illegally ". This was stated by the acting attorney general of the Court of Appeal of Rome, Federico De Siervo, at the inauguration ceremony of the judicial year.

"Following numerous complaints, complaints from citizens and associations - continues De Siervo - it has been ascertained that in many areas of Rome, due to the lack of staff and adequate means, there has been no regular collection of municipal waste from the bins In this case, the crime of illegal storage of waste was contested ". And again: "it emerged that the services managed by Ama through external contracting companies, such as the collection of waste from non-domestic users, did not give satisfactory results as the lack of surveillance and control by the investee of the Municipality allowed on the one hand the non-compliance with the contract whereby the waste from these utilities were collected without due regularity, on the other it was necessary to intervene by Ama to integrate or in cases of particularly delicate sites (such as for example health clinics) ".
