This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of WADA.

The department said that the corresponding decision was made "because of the likely disruptions due to the general strike in Paris."

On November 25, the WADA Compliance Committee recommended that the executive committee remove Russia from international competitions for four years, as well as ban it from hosting international tournaments. In addition, the participation of Russian athletes in competitions only in neutral status was recommended.

This is due to the identification of intentional changes in the data of the Moscow laboratory, the transfer of which in its original form was one of the key points for restoring RUSADA compliance status with the World Anti-Doping Code.

The WADA Executive Committee meeting on this issue will be held on December 9.

Earlier it was reported that Russia confirmed the fact of making changes to the database of the Moscow laboratory.
