Youth volunteered in the 2019 FNC elections said their eagerness to participate was aimed at strengthening their resumes, gaining more experience, and serving the nation by helping facilitate voting for members of electoral bodies.

They pointed out that the experience was useful, refined their expertise, and increased their chances of getting better jobs.

The number of volunteers in the organization of the elections of the National Council reached 1170 volunteers, whose task was to facilitate the voting process for members of the electoral bodies, and to provide support to the various teams working in the electoral centers.

Volunteer Mohammed al-Madhani stressed that volunteering in the elections had multiple objectives, mainly to strengthen the curriculum vitae.

He added that volunteerism in the elections helped him develop himself and understand some management strategies.

Volunteer Majid Al Nuaimi said that there are two main factors that motivated him to volunteer in organizing the election process, namely the national sense and the desire to participate in this big event, in addition to gaining more experience, knowledge and relations, through dealing with dozens of other volunteers, and interacting with voters, stressing that he feels that he Much has been accomplished through this volunteer work.

Volunteer Munira Al Ketbi said that she was keen to participate in serving the country by participating in facilitating the voting process in the committees, in addition to gaining new experiences, which strengthens her resume and adds more elements of experience.

The volunteer Alia Al-Amri pointed out that her volunteering gave her more opportunities, stressing her keenness to enhance the democratic experience of the state.

Khalid Al Kaabi, director of the Al Khawaneej Electoral Center in Dubai, said the volunteers at the UAE level are "unknown soldiers" who helped make the electoral process a success.

He said that the young people took great trouble for the homeland, some of them came from Kalba to Dubai, and continued to work for more than 13 hours, but they were happy with the service they provide to the country, pointing out that this voluntary participation gives them skills and experience, which help them in their working life.
