The hero of the publication RT, a supporter of the anti-Maidan from Odessa, Vitaly Nazlymov, received Russian citizenship. In 2015, Nazlymova arrested the SBU allegedly on suspicion of preparing an attempt and terrorist attack, as well as possession of weapons. Two years later, the Odessa court partially acquitted the man, finding him guilty only on the last point. Finding himself at large soon, Vitaly appealed, but the authorities began to drag out the process, and he moved to Bryansk, where he became a member of the resettlement program for compatriots. However, he did not succeed in obtaining a Russian passport on his first attempt because of a formally unclean criminal record in Ukraine.
