The bodies that were recovered near the Taeseongho hull that sank in the sea off Jeju were all confirmed as Vietnamese sailors in their 30s.

According to the Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency, the National Institute of Scientific Investigations' DNA analysis of two bodies found 44 meters and 50 meters away from Daesung Lake's estimated object sank on the bottom of the sea was confirmed to be a 32-year-old Vietnamese sailor.

The Maritime Police will hand over their family to the Vietnamese Embassy as they are identified.

An autopsy of two bodies of Vietnamese sailors revealed that soot was detected in the bronchus and there was a high temperature trace in the organs.

On July 19th, at 7:05 am, a report was reported to the police that a fire broke out in Daesung Lake, a fishing boat with Tongyeong shipping boats, 76km west of Chaguido, Jeju.

Among the 12 crew members, Kim Mo was found on the day of the accident and was taken to hospital, but he died.

Nine people are missing.
