Prince Charles - Avalon / Starface

Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are celebrating two things this week: their crystal wedding and their reunion. Queen Elizabeth II's son had to quarantine after catching the coronavirus. His wife was not otherwise infected, while they live together, it was preferable that they stay far away from each other.

Their reunion coinciding with their 15 years of marriage, it was well worth a photo posed on the porch of their property in Birkhall in Scotland with their companion dogs, Bluebell and Beth.

Ahead of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall's 15th wedding anniversary tomorrow, we are sharing this photo of Their Royal Highnesses with The Duchess's dogs Bluebell and Beth.

As we can see, the heir to the English throne is better and no longer needs to distance himself from his wife.

50 years of romance

Fans of The Crown know it: the love story between Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles dates back to well before their nuptials in 2005. They met in 1970. If they liked each other right away, nothing was simple. Between ruptures, reunions, and royal label (Camilla was neither aristocrat nor virgin, which, at the time, made impossible any wedding with a member of the royal family, who is moreover the heir to the throne), their romance has experienced some eddies. The public was only made aware of their affair in the 1990s, when the marriage between Prince Charles and Lady Diana fell apart.

It wasn't until 1998, a year after Lady Di's death, that Charles introduced Camilla to his children, Princes Harry and William. Two years later, the queen attended an event where her son and his partner were also there, officially approving their love story ... and accepting, 35 years later, that they would say "yes".
